W. David Hall is W. George Matton Professor of Religion and Philosophy at Centre College. He is the author of PAUL RICOEUR AND THE POETIC IMPERATIVE: THE CREATIVE TENSION BETWEEN LOVE AND JUSTICE (SUNY, 2007), and is currently completing a volume with Lori Brandt Hale on the political theology of Dietrich Bonhoeffer. He has published widely in the areas of philosophical hermeneutics, philosophical theology, political theology, and religion and literature.
