All events will take place at the Flamingo Conference Resort in Santa Rosa, California. The Flamingo is currently sold out. Overflow accommodations have been arranged at the Hyatt Vineyard Creek Hotel and Spa, located just 2.2 miles from the Flamingo. One of Santa Rosa's more desirable hotels, the Hyatt, in downtown Santa Rosa, is in walking distance of dozens of restaurants and shops. Westar will provide a shuttle between the hotels in the early mornings and late afternoons/evenings.
The Hyatt has agreed to match the $119 room rate offered to Westar members by the Flamingo Conference Resort. Book a room at the Hyatt online or call the Hyatt at 888-421-1442 and request the Westar rate.
Alaska Airlines provides nonstop service to the Charles M. Schultz-Sonoma County Airport in Santa Rosa (STS) from Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles, and San Diego. Santa Rosa is also served by San Francisco (SFO) and Oakland (OAK) airports.
The Airport Express provides service from SFO and OAK to Santa Rosa. Travel time is about two hours. The fare is currently $34 one-way with a $2 discount for seniors (62+), military, and students. The new Santa Rosa drop-off point, at the Veterans Memorial building, is 1.8 miles from the Flamingo. From there you must get a cab.
Currently buses depart San Francisco airport every hour, on the half-hour, from 5:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. Airport buses pickup on the Lower Level (outside Baggage Claim area) in the center island at the pillars marked “Airporters.” Buses depart Oakland airport every two hours, on the half hour, from 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Buses pick up outside the Baggage Claim area, at the Ground Transportation Center platform marked “4D Scheduled Buses.”

The Seminar Papers are the basis for the discussions in Saturday’s sessions. They will not be presented orally at the event. Persons wishing to follow the discussions should read the papers in advance. Electronic copies of the Seminar Papers are included in the Wed/Thurs–Sat registration prices. They will be distributed in February. Hardcopies of the papers will be available at a cost of $25 each.
