Kay Higuera Smith

Kay Higuera Smith is Professor of Biblical and Religious Studies and Program Director of the Religious Studies program at Azusa Pacific University. Her published works deal with issues of Postcoloniality and Evangelicalism, Christian/Jewish relations, theology, comparative hermeneutics, and gender issues. In her most recent publication, she was Editor-in-Chief of Postcolonial Evangelical Conversations: Global Awakenings in Theology and Praxis (Downers Grove: InterVarsity Press, 2014). She has taught at APU for 16 years and now teaches Global Biblical Interpretation, Religious Studies, Judaism, Gospels, early Judaism and Christianity, and Bible and Gender.
