J. Samuel Subramanian is the Assistant Professor of New Testament Theology at United Theological Seminary of Twin Cities in Minnesota. He specializes in Greek and the New Testament, with interests in Second Temple Judaism, world religions, and the history and polity of the United Methodist Church. He has served as a United Methodist minister in Iowa and India, and as a church delegate from India to the World Council of Churches in Geneva. His publications include Resourcing New Testament Studies (2009, co-editor) and The Synoptic Gospels and the Psalms as Prophecy (2007).
